Contract Administrator (aka “Consigliere”)

Mobius Risk Group is seeking a Contract Administrator to support our growing team. This position will play an integral part within the Client Success team. The Contract Administrator will report to the CEO.

The Role

This role is responsible for preparation, negotiation, and execution of contract documents and will help drive efficiencies in the contracting process. This role serves as the point of contact for all contractual matters including contract management, negotiation, compliance, documentation, renewals and amendments.

Forward and historical market pricing with 1000s of real market price curves

Be the “consigliere” to the CEO and management team.

Expertise in contracts and contract management, enabling strategic counsel to the CEO and management team.

Oversee the machine learning/AI initiatives of the vast sets of documents that Mobius reviews and retains.

Work with marketing and business development to drive the client contracting process as a competitive advantage.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements.

Icon Check

Follow existing contract workflows and processes, focusing on efficiency and scale. Make recommendations for continuous contract process improvement.

Maintain an organized and up to date contract repository, with detailed records of all contract-related activities.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.

Address any discrepancies or issues during the negotiation process.

Ensure all contracts adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.

Monitor and enforce contract compliance throughout the contract life cycle.

Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts.

Manage contract renewals and amendments, ensuring timely review and approval.

Update contracts as necessary to reflect changes in scope, terms or conditions.

Prepare reports and summaries for management as needed.

Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations and ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and rules.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, Paralegal Studies or related field.

3 to 5 years of experience in contract administration.

Icon Check

Experience managing extensive contract portfolio; including contracts of various size, scope and complexity.

Legal experience a plus.

Icon Check

Knowledge of corporate, contract laws and regulatory compliance.

Experience with cloud-based document storage and management.

Icon Check

Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.

Ability to proofread for contextual, grammatical and spelling errors.

Icon Check

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
