About Rodney Beasley

Role & Responsibilies

Rodney Beasley is a Product Development Manager at Mobius Risk Group, where he focuses on the systems, database structures, and operational workflows that support commodity valuation, invoice verification, ESG reporting, and client reporting processes across the firm’s utility and oil and gas engagements. His work centers on making complex information reliable, auditable, and immediately usable — whether through faster valuation reporting, large-scale bill recalculations, or improved visibility into market and operational data.

Rodney works extensively in SQL database architecture, reporting design, and process modernization, with an emphasis on structuring data in ways that improve both speed and accuracy. Underlying database and reporting improvements that once required minutes to process can often return results in milliseconds, allowing clients and internal teams to work from current information instead of waiting on static reporting cycles.

His perspective is shaped by more than three decades of experience spanning engineering, energy operations, environmental compliance, commodity risk management, and reporting infrastructure. Before returning to Mobius, Rodney spent roughly a decade in oil and gas operations and environmental engineering roles, including infrastructure design, procurement, and construction support for production facilities. That operational background allows him to bridge the gap between field operations, commercial teams, engineers, and technical systems — translating complex reporting and risk information into language that different groups can act on.

Rodney has spent 13 years with Mobius across two tenures and has built much of his career around designing systems that help people understand complicated information more clearly and make better operational decisions from it. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
