Roles and Responsibilities

Within his role at Mobius, TJ leverages his 25+ years’ experience in derivatives trading, hedging, physical operations, and fundamental research, combined with his six years as Head of the Physical Natural Gas desk at Mobius, to provide comprehensive risk management solutions for our clients in the energy sector. This includes physical and financial risk assessment for producers and end users, hedging solutions, physical procurement and marketing solutions, contract negotiations, transport valuation and management, market research, and forecasting.

Previous Experience

Before joining Mobius Risk Group, TJ’s long career centered on proprietary trading and in-depth market research, specifically focusing on regional natural gas price risk throughout the United States. He honed his extensive expertise during his tenure in the hedge fund world at Centaurus Energy and Goldfinch Capital, where his focus was primarily on natural gas trading and fundamental research. Earlier in his career, TJ was at Williams Energy in Tulsa, overseeing all financial price risk and proprietary trading activities for the Western US natural gas markets.
