Michael Del Papa

Role and Responsibilities

Michael is responsible for directing the build out of client-facing, business intelligence solutions combining his insights from his vast experience in oil and gas engineering and commodity markets.

Prior Experience

Michael has 10+ years of commodity markets experience from time with Citigroup, Castleton Commodities, and Gunvor. While at Citigroup, he worked closely with Mobius Managing Director, Chuck Carlton, on their natural gas trading desk, building out the natural gas storage portfolio. He was Head of Fundamental Analytics for the NGL Trading Desk at Castleton before joining Gunvor as the initial person in a team that built out their US NGL trading presence. Prior to earning his MBA, Michael acquired eight years of experience at ExxonMobil as a reservoir engineer which included division planning and development along with detailed reservoir modeling, forecasting, and risk assessment in the Gulf of Mexico Deepwater and Shelf and Chad, Africa.
