Role and Responsibilities

Jason is a highly experienced energy trader with over 25 years in the natural gas industry. He has a firm grasp of both physical and financial trading aspects. Since joining Mobius in 2016, his primary role has been overseeing physical and financial data risk controls. This includes managing transaction confirmations, financial invoicing, client onboarding, and supporting financial desks for both internal and external teams. 

Collaborating closely with the Development Team and Client Success, Jason actively contributes to refining processes within RiskNet, aiming for increased efficiency and data accuracy. Before his current position, he spent three years at Mobius on the Physical Operations desk, handling tasks such as natural gas marketing, contract negotiations, and pipeline operations.

Previous Experience

Before joining in 2016, Jason worked as a Financial Trader at Occidental for 16 years. He excelled in identifying and executing natural gas trading opportunities, managing speculative trading books, and handling substantial asset portfolios. Jason's comprehensive financial and physical transactional expertise enables him to effectively communicate with clients across various operational stages, from front to back office.
